I was just going through my computer, backing up some important data and stuff. And then just came across my movie backup folder. I have some great movies backed up here. My personal favorites that I love to watch again. Once you have kids, you will know that backing up your movies is a smart thing to do. 🙂
Anyways, I came across some good titles that I wanted to watch again later on today, and 2 of them were Saving Private Ryan and Enemy at the Gates. Which for some weird reason, got me thinking about “Brave” people.
And from the brave people, my thoughts lead to whether they are good to have around or not? See I have been doing a lot of critical thinking lately.
As I usually don’t like to write too much here on the computer, I just wanted to mention, and get your comments on the following statement:
What if there were absolutely no brave people at all on this planet. Not even a single soul. Everybody was timid, and scared of getting hurt. If this was the case, do you think we would have had any wars in our history? People killing people in the name of religion, nation, beliefs etc. Aggressors and defenders? Rulers and liberators? Let’s just think about this for a little while, and share our comments.

The dog ate my homework excuse has been going around for a while. But, how about the dog ate my sock! A couple of days ago I was hanging out with our family dog Chief, and our buddy Jimmy. Now chief is a smart dog. Sometimes even smarter than some of the people I have come across in my life.
I was proudly demonstrating the ability of Chief to learn new tricks in exchange for a little praise and the special “under the neck” rub to die for. So, as he already knew how to “go get it”, sit, lay down etc., I figured it’s time to teach him how to “drop it” after he goes and “gets it”.
Within 10 minutes he was doing it. Yes, he was getting the sock and then was dropping it. So, Jim decided he wants to be a participant as well, and not just be the audience. He gets hold of the sock, throws it, asks Chief to go get it. All went well, until he asked Chief to “drop it”.
The moment of truth came, and Chief, still not sure of why, instead of dropping the sock, completely and immediately swallowed it!! Yup, the sock went down the throat of the 90 lb monster, leaving me wondering why in the world did he do it.
Almost 3 days, and I still can’t figure out why he decided to swallow it. What was going on his big head? Any ideas or explanations are welcome.

I can’t believe this! And these are the money professionals and supposed to be smart about it! Or is it something else? Maybe they are smart, just too smart and there is something that we cant see through.
Well, it’s been many days now that I have been wanting to start off blogging. Precisely, I wanted to start writing a journal, a more private writing thing, but then also be able to publish some of the things from my journal for the public; my views and opinions etc. So, today, I am trying Windows Live Writer. I think it allows to save local drafts, which means, not publishing them on the internet, and then publishing to most blogging services.
